***Note:  Because of new CCSD bussing policies, Varsity and JV events will be contested on the same day – fewer JV events to better fit teams on one bus each.  Athletes may compete only in varsity events or only in JV events – no mixing.

ENTRY FEE:                 $125.00 per Varsity Division (i.e., Varsity Girls = $125.00, Varsity Boys = $125.00)

                                    $75.00 per JV Division (i.e., JV Boys = $35.00, JV Girls = $35.00)

MAXIMUM ENTRY FEE $300

ENTRIES:                 Field Event Relay – 3 Athletes

                                    Running – 1 Relay Team per School

Athlete May Participate In A Maximum of 4 Events.  Athletes may not switch divisions (JV/Varsity) during the two days or run under another athlete’s name.

 

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:

1.            Up to 3/16” Pyramid or Needle spike allowed. 

2.            Scoring –  10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

3.            Throws/Jumps – 3 attempts           (HJ/PV only 2 attempts 1st two heights)

4.            Starting heights                    Pole Vault – 6’ / 8’

High Jump – 4’ / 5’                         

5.         Throwing implements will be pooled for use by any competitor.    Pick up implements after each flight.  Mark school name on implements

6.         Warm up will be on the center of football field within coned area.

            7.         Keep athletes not competing off the field.  No warm-up on track.             

8.         Snack bar will be open on south (home) side. 

            9.         Rules – National Federation and NIAA.

            10.       Exchange Information:

§  Shuttle Hurdles – (10, 39” or 33”)  Incoming runners must cross line marked 4’ in front of start

§  4 x 100                       2 turn stagger

§  4 x 1600                     1 turn stagger, box start

§  Distance Medley      1 turn stagger, box start (1200, 400, 800, 1600)

§  Sprint Medley           3 turn stagger (200, 200, 400, 800)

            11.       Field event score is sum of each athlete’s best mark

12.       Throwers 4 x 100 relay:  This event is for only athletes who competed in the shot or discus at this meet.

13.       Names for participating runners and field event athletes will be recorded at check-in – at the actual event for field events and at the clerk for running events.

14.       No tents on the home side grandstand.
